Graphic Arts Production (4 terms, 2 credits)
Prerequisite: Graphic Communication II/a grade of “C” or better
is recommended
Level: Jr, Sr Elective
Fee: $45.00
You will train in a production environment and be involved
in the tasks of a commercial production studio as well as individual projects. You will play an important role in the production
of the school newspaper, “The Spectator” as well as many other
high quality, challenging projects, including printing for student
organizations, the registration handbook, play posters, graduation
programs, and many other manufactured jobs for the high school
and school district. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In
Design and Adobe Acrobat are software programs used for work
flows. A final portfolio of student work will be required. Offset
Lithography, Screen, and Digital printing are the main processes
